Design and Printing of a 4-Color Book
Introduction: The National Federation of the Deaf Nepal (NDFN) is a national-level umbrella organization established in 1995 to advocate for the rights of people with hearing impairments, including Deaf, Deafblind, and others with complex disabilities. NDFN is currently executing the project "Promoting Inclusive Education for People with Deafblindness in Nepal" in collaboration with Sense International. As part of this initiative, NDFN invites expressions of interest from external consultants/companies to develop a book layout (design) and handle the printing process.
Scope of Work:
The project requires the design and printing of a 4-color, A-4 size, and 60-page book in a quantity of 200 pieces.
The scope of work includes:
Book Inner Part Design: The consultant will need to create an attractive design for the content provided by the federation.
Cover Design: Develop an attractive cover design that represents the essence of the book's content.
Printing: Handle the printing process using a 4-color (CMYK) printing method on suitable high-quality paper (120gm).
Timeline: The entire project should be completed by the 25th of September 2023.
Eligibility and Submission Requirements: To be eligible for this opportunity, interested consultants/companies must meet the following criteria:
Must be a registered company with legal documentation (Company registration, VAT, Latest Tax clearance).
Should possess previous experience in book layout design and printing.
Evaluation Criteria: The submitted expressions of interest will be evaluated based on previous experience, creativity, and quality assurance.
Submission Details: Interested parties are requested to submit their expressions of interest by the 13th of August 2023. The submission should include the following:
A cover letter expressing the intent to participate and highlighting relevant experience.
Company profile and legal documentation (Company registration, VAT, Latest Tax clearance).
Portfolio showcasing previous book design and printing projects.
Proposed timeline for completing the book design and printing.
Cost estimate for the entire project, including design and printing expenses.

Job description/task:
We are seeking a consultant to develop a home-based education guideline to make sure we have a proper plan and documentation to move ahead on the home-based education system we could advocate for the government, display the results of the home-based education, and consider this of the government.

Duration of the Agreement:
The consultant shall commence the work from the date of signing the agreement and
complete only after the approval of the final report by NDFN. The period for application development shall be as per:
However, in the event of a dispute or other proceedings during and or after the completion of the consultancy, the consultant shall be available to assist NDFN, under the same conditions of engagement as applicable to this agreement.
Data and Assistance to be provided by the NDFN
The following shall be provided to the consultant by NDFN:
It should be noted that the consultant will need to provide all the technical support related to the document. The consultant will also be responsible for providing all other necessary facilities and logistical support for themselves, including accommodation, vehicle, transportation, office equipment, communications, utilities, office supplies, and other miscellaneous requirements during the meeting in Kathmandu. If any field-level discussion is required, NDFN will manage the cost as per its financial policy.
Data Protection:
All the data generated by the consultant will be the property of NDFN. The consultant will have no rights and shall not use the data without taking prior consent from NDFN.
Payment:
Termination of Contract:
The contract will be terminated automatically after the completion of the contract date. Anything not mentioned in ToR will be resolved by mutual discussion and consensus.
