How to get disability identity card?

This article provides information on how people with hearing impairments can obtain a disability identity card.

To protect and promote the interests of persons with disabilities, to ensure their health, education, employment, training, rehabilitation and equalization, to include them in development processes and to properly manage the services, facilities and opportunities specified by the state, disability identity card is required. All persons with disabilities of any age will be able to obtain an identity card from their local body.
Criteria for distribution of identity cards
Identity cards have been categorized and distributed among four groups on the basis of seriousness in the Act 2074 regarding the rights of persons with disabilities.
Completely disabled
Class A Disability Certificate for persons with disabilities who are unable to perform daily activities with the help of others due to functional abnormalities in their physical or mental systems, persons with severe intellectual disabilities, persons with complete hearing-blindness and persons with complete disability. Will be distributed.
It will be issued in red with golden letters clearly identifying.
B) Extremely handicapped disability
People who are able to carry out daily life, move around, communicate, read and write only with the help of others, because of polio or other causes the lower part of the body is not fully active or the spine is injured or paralyzed People who are unable to use wheelchairs, those who have no limbs under both arms, those who have no limbs below the waist, those who use crutches without both legs fully functioning, those who are completely blind, deaf people, those who can perform daily life on their own but have learning difficulties. Individuals with intellectual disabilities, people with multiple disabilities who need to be constantly assisted by others, will be provided a class B identity card.
It will be issued in blue color with golden letters clearly identifying.
C) Moderate disability
The use of artificial limbs or auxiliary materials to perform daily activities on one's own, having polio affecting only the lower limbs, people with physical disabilities who are able to walk freely, at least the thumb and forefinger below the palm of the hand and the part below the ankle, spinal cord. People with hearing impairments, hearing impaired people using hearing aids, people who can only speak through a surgical laryngeal esophagus, people with acute deafness, people under three feet, people who use both spectacles and hearing aids, or people with hearing loss. People with visual impairment are in the category of disability of group "C".
It will be issued in yellow color with blue letters clearly identifying.
D) General disability
Although there are general deformities in the limbs, there is no difficulty in performing daily life, hands or feet are slightly shorter, large letters can be read, visually impaired people, minimal thumb and forefinger under the palm of the hand, no toe parts, hearing aids with or without hearing People with hearing impairments, people with intellectual disabilities who have very poor memory and learning difficulties fall into the "D" category.
It will be issued in white with black letters clearly identifying.
Necessary documents for making disability identity card and office for making it
1. Recommendation of ward office
2. Application for identity card at the municipality or village municipality office
3. Health test certificate
4. After completing all the tests and documents, the municipality or village office checks whether there is disability or not, according to the rules, the deaf person is given a blue (medium) type identity card.
